The Cheapest Meal Delivery, Computed Honestly
Shipping included, intro discounts excluded. Trifecta split = one delivered meal, two servings.
Every meal-delivery price you see advertised is the week-1 price. By week 3 the intro discount is gone and the real bill arrives. This page computes the real number — shipping in, discounts out — because that’s the price you’ll actually live with.
The real per-meal price, delivered, week 3+
- Clean Eatz — $9.60. The budget play by a mile. Gym-food taste is the tax; at $4+ under everyone else per meal, most budgets pay it.
- Factor — $12.30. The mid-price pick that tastes most like dinner.
- Trifecta — $13.79. Highest sticker of the group until you apply the split.
- BistroMD — $14.20. You’re paying for the program structure, not the food.
The split-the-meal math
For a three-bite appetite, Trifecta’s portions are honestly too big — which is the loophole. Split each meal in two and the math flips: $6.90 per eaten meal with 19–21g protein per half. That beats Clean Eatz on price and protein density, at the cost of owning food containers and remembering to use them.
The split only works if half a Trifecta portion actually fills you. Early transition, it usually does; if your appetite has stabilized, price the whole-meal column instead.
The honest bottom line
Smallest bill, no effort: Clean Eatz. Smallest bill per gram of protein: Trifecta, split. The full showdown has the portion and taste columns this page deliberately leaves out.
